Holocaust Centre of New Zealand: CEO
An exciting opportunity has arrived at the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand.
The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand (HCNZ) is New Zealand’s leading Holocaust organisation. We are looking for a new CEO to lead the Centre’s strategy and operations. We are a small, charitable organisation that excels in influence well beyond our size.
The HCNZ inspires and empowers action against antisemitism, discrimination and apathy by remembering, educating, and bearing witness to the Holocaust. It has five priorities: Educate, bear witness, remember, and to act.
Our activities span the depth and breadth of teaching, researching, publishing, archiving, public commemorations and events, and recording and sharing survivor testimonies.
The CEO role is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in this important area of work.
The successful candidate will thrive on working with all kinds of people, have energy and determination to make things happen and always with a collaborative approach. You’ll understand the Holocaust and its place in history. You’ll be a multi-tasker, with the ability to juggle many projects at once. You’ll be able to work within a volunteer-led environment to get the most out of volunteers, members and staff.
